More and more, individuals are quitting the big corporate employers and striking out on their own. With the explosion of the internet, they can immediately be seen by millions of potential customers. But are these customers lost before the first sales pitch is made? Studies have proven that a strong and professional business logo can draw in wavering customers subconsciously, so they are favorably inclined toward your business before they even read what you have to offer. With over 25 years of professional marketing, designing and advertising background, and two gold CLIO Awards under his belt, Cate graduate Greg Clow '77 has put together an inexpensive line of self-design guides that show you hidden and secret tips to design your business logo yourself. Design one, ten, or 100, and then use the best. Greg shows you the cheap or free way to get this done in one evening.
Education

The College Trail, founded in 1996 by Cate graduate Rod Turner, provides high school students and their families all three components of academic and college admission support: 1.College Planning, Preparation, and Admission Strategies. 2.Academic Coaching (tutoring) where we specialize in math and science but offer our services in all subjects. 3.Standardized Test Preparation. Unlike most college counselors, we are strategists who focus on knowledge not found in books or web sites. We know that each student is unique and requires personal attention for early planning, strategic positioning, and preparation for the journey to college and beyond. We assist students in gaining and sustaining a competitive advantage throughout their academic lives, and go beyond the obvious by implementing innovative ideas and results-driven solutions.

Experience Guest Ranch accomodations on a 320 acre 'old west' homestead site on the edge of the Black Rock Desert and in the Hualapai Valley. This oasis has all modern ammenities including rooms, and lots of space for RV's. Primitive camping is also offered in their private wildlife areas. Multiple vehicle campsites available. The old Iveson Ranch is located along the eastern edge of the 8000' Granite Range and in the Walapai Valley. It is an original Nevada Homestead site operated by the Fascio family since 1995. Now managed as a private wildlife preserve, the B&B supports this land use change from cattle ranching. The back gate opens up to the amazing expanses of the Nevada outback where visitors to this area will find solitude and photo opportunity shared only by mule deer, antelope and wild horses. The rooms and buildings are a blend of old ranch rustic charm and modern conveniences. Camping is permitted on-ranch by tent or by RV. High clearance vehicles, horses, ATVs and motorcycles are encouraged as the best way to experience the outback. Of course, Caties get the 'owners special treatment' and will enjoy special guided trips to Fly Geyser and ATV riding on the Granite Mountains.
