Alumni Newsletter Header
    January 2010
Dear Alumni,

Last Saturday, 53 alumni, from the Class of 1959 to the Class of 2009, descended on the Mesa to compete against the current varsity sports teams. The alumni soccer team put up a great showing, but fell to the varsity team (final score: 4-7). The alumni basketball team faired much better, defeating the varsity team (final score: 44-26). A number of alumni also competed in squash matched against Cate's varsity squad; some won, while others lost. The alumni rounded out their day with a dinner hosted by faculty members Dave Mochel & Marnie Woehr at their home. Be sure to put Spring Alumni Sports Day (May 8th) on your calendar now!

On the Mesa
Construction Update.  Construction continues on the Mesa!  This past week, a number of milestones were reached.  Pieces of the wastewater treatment plant were delivered to be assembled on-site, a temporary road was opened going down to '25 House to make room for the construction of the new pools, and concrete was poured into one of the new pools forming its. We all eagerly anticipate the end result of these projects!
