Students participate in American Math Contests. In February, 51 Cate students participated in the 61st annual American Mathematics Contests (AMC), jointly sponsored by the Mathematical Association of America, the University of Nebraska and several other national math organizations. The test was given at Cate during a 75 minute period. It is essentially the High School equivalent of the Math "Olympics" which includes several rounds of qualifying competitions. Read more.
