FRIDAY

All Day Frisbee Golf

Pick up a Frisbee and a course map at CC HQ anytime during the day and enjoy a round of Frisbee Golf.

8:30 Class of '95 Alumni golf tournament

(Rancho San Marcos)

Grayson Bryant '95 and his classmates invite you to join the annual Camp Cate golf tournament. Come with a foursome or let us assign you to one. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the day. Departure for golf is at 8:30am from Pizza Lawn, tee-off at 10:00am.

3:00pm-5:00pm Archives Open (In McBean Library)

Betty Woodworth will be in the Archives with lemonade to answer your questions and reminisce.

5:00pm-6:00pm Cate Wine Tasting (Johnson Library)

Join Terry Eagle in the Johnson Library as he pours tastes of wines from Cate family vintners.

5:30pm-6:30pm Kids' Dinner (Raymond Commons)

6:00pm-7:30pm Viva la Fiesta! (Commencement Lawn)

Margaritas and appetizers with faculty.

7:30pm Mexican Dinner (Commencement Lawn)

Join with other alumni for a festive Mexican dinner.

Join Leadership Gifts and Planned Giving Director Terry Eagle for breakfast and learn how to put Cate in your future plans.

8:30am-9:30am 28^th Annual Mesa Race

(2.5 miles around the Mesa, starts from the track)

Lace up your running shoes and enjoy a refreshing run around the Mesa! Race t-shirts will be given out to all participants, as well as a prize for the winner.

10:00am-11:30am Beach Walk (Meet at CC HQ)

Tour the tide pools under the Carpinteria Bluffs with lifetime Carpinterian, Carolyn Frary.

10:00am-12:00pm Ropes Course (Ropes course)

Trust your fellow alumni as you scale walls and leap from great heights! No experience necessary. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

10:00am-11:30am Cate Today and Alumni Council Meeting (Johnson Library)

Open to ALL Alumni. Come hear Assistant Headmaster Jay Dorion discuss the current state of the School, data from the Admissions Office, and plans for the Centennial Celebration. Learn more about the latest endeavors and help to create future goals for your Alumni Council.

11:00am-4:00pm Cate Cargo Sales (Day Walkway)

Stock up on your Cate gear! Stop by the Day Walkway to purchase a variety of Cate School paraphernalia.

12:00pm-2:00pm Alumni Jam Session (Senior Lawn)

Jam with other Cate musicians, or enjoy the music while relaxing on Senior Lawn!

After you have a bite, test your croquet and bocce ball skills. A bounce house and games will also be available for children!

1:00pm-2:30pm Back Country Hike (Meet at CC HQ)

A 90-minute, mildly strenuous hike up to "Bee” Camp led by Ned Bowler '83. Wear sneakers/ hiking boots and long pants. Water bottles will be available. Suggested age is 7 years or older. Hiking without a Cate certified guide is strictly prohibited!

1:00pm-2:00pm Nature Walk (Meet at CC HQ)

Join Cheryl Powers for a nature walk around Cate.

2:00pm-3:30pm 5^th Annual Alumni Tennis Tournament (Tennis Center)

Join Terry Eagle for this Camp Cate classic. All levels are welcome, as well as spouses and guests. Tournament will be in the round robin format (a few racquets may be available).

2:30pm-3:30pm Art on the Mesa (Meet at School House 1)

Art Department Chair Patrick Collins will lead a Cate art tour that discusses Cate's architecture and some of the School's most significant pieces.

2:00pm-5:00pm Pick-up games

(Sprague Gym and Athletic Fields)

Check out sports equipment at CCHQ and take advantage of the open courts and fields with your classmates!

3:00pm-4:00pm Twelve Step Meeting

(Berolzheimer Classroom Building)

Everyone is welcome to attend this 12 Step Meeting.

5:00pm-6:00pm Kids' Dinner (Raymond Commons)

5:30pm-6:30pm Class Cocktail Parties (Faculty Homes)

Join your classmates for light appetizers and drinks at the home of a Cate Faculty member (visit CCHQ to find out where your class party will be held)! This is a great time to share class memorabilia! Your class photo will also be taken at this event, so be on time! This event is for adult guests. A list of babysitters is available at CCHQ.

6:30pm Reunion Dinner (Track Field)

Enjoy the company of your classmates and reminisce at this lively buffet dinner. Music and dancing to follow. Dress is informal, suitable for cool Mesa evenings. This event is for adult guests. A list of babysitters is available upon request at CCHQ.

10:00am-10:00am Memorial Service for Alumni and Friends (Katharine Thayer Cate Memorial Chapel)

We encourage any alumni to remember and remark on schoolmates, friends, and faculty who have passed away since Camp Cate 2009. Casual Dress.
