SAN FRANCISCO FOOD BANK – CATE SERVONS

On December 1, 2009, twenty Cate alumni and friends teamed up at the San Francisco Food Bank to celebrate Cate Servons! Volunteers began the evening sorting and boxing green apples. After checking and moving 15,200 pounds of apples, Caties shifted towards cereal. In total, 1,152 pounds of cereal were bagged and boxed!
The San Francisco Food Bank provides 78,000 meals a day and 37 million pounds of food per year. Volunteers make up 85% of the work force! A big thank you to all those who attended: Rick Baum '64, Rickie Ann Baum, Blair Elliott Paige '86, Arthur Connor '87, Gregory Lemmons '96, Geoff McDonald '89, Rachel Baum '01, Katie Lillard '88, Allie Phelps '02, Cole Conte, Lara Conte '86, Marty Levison '02, Chris Skelton '02, and Nick Bucklin '01.
